Verdy’s 19th game of the 2016 J2 season is at Home to Kyoto Sanga at Ajinmoto Stadium, after the fight back from 2 goals down to get a draw against Chiba, Verdy now face another top half of the table team in Kyoto Sanga, they are on top form with winning 9 games from 17 games played and have won the last 4 out of 5 matches, another worrying game to me as Kyoto have really been doing a lot better than they were last season when they were in the bottom 6 and were in free fall with problems behind the scenes at Kyoto, but this season it’s all different, to the head to head between each other, after playing 27 games against each other, the stats look like this – Verdy wins – 9, Draws – 6, Kyoto Wins – 12, the biggest victory for Verdy is a 5-2 victory in the 2003 season and the biggest Kyoto win was a 5-0 win in the 2013 season, let’s hope that Verdy can get a result against Kyoto.
