Matchday 22 Preview – Tokyo Verdy v Fagiano Okayama (2016)

Matchday 22 Preview – Tokyo Verdy v Fagiano Okayama

Verdy’s 22nd game of the 2016 J2 season is at Home v Fagiano Okayama at Ajinomoto Stadium, after the disappointment in losing the last 2 games (Lost 1-0 against Cerezo and lost 2-1 against Kitakyushu last weekend), it’s time for Verdy to hopefully get back to winning ways but they have to do it against 4th place Fagiano Okayama – looking at the table – Verdy really need to push themselves away really bad, there are 3 clubs on 20 points (one of them Verdy), Gunma are currently 2 points behind all 3 clubs, but if Verdy get a win and if results go Verdy’s way then a climb up the table will be much better for everyone I’m sure. Let’s have a look at the head to head between each other, after 16 games against each other, it looks like this – Verdy Wins -7, Draws – 3, Okayama Wins – 6, the biggest win for Verdy against Okayama is 4-0 – both games (Home/Away) was in the 2011 season and also Verdy won 5 games in a row against Okayama at one time(from late 2009 to late 2011) so let’s hope for a win at least and nothing less, fingers crossed it’s a Verdy win and will give confidence to everyone for the rest of the season. LET’S FIGHT TOWARDS VICTORY.
