Matchday 28 Review – Tokyo Verdy 4-1 Zweigen Kanazawa (2016)

Matchday 28 Review – Tokyo Verdy 4-1 Zweigen Kanazawa

Verdy totally decimated Zweigen Kanazawa in the second half after it was 1-1 at Half Time, in the first half, the first half was only 15 minutes old when Verdy took a 1-0 lead after a short corner was eventually crossed into the box where Akira Ibayashi got above the Kanazawa DF to head it past the Kanazawa GK to score, but Kanazawa equalised on the 38th minutes after a cross from left hand side and it fell to Shinji Tsujio whose first shot was well stopped by Suzuki in the Verdy goal but he couldn’t do anything about Tsujio’s second shot to make it 1-1 just before Half Time, but Verdy run rampant against Kanazawa in the second half – it started with a cross into the box and 2nd half Sub Alan Pinheiro headed it into the path of a jumping Naoto Sawai to head it into the goal past a stranded Kanazawa GK to make it 2-1 Verdy, it was 3-1 and Sawai’s second goal – after 1 pass football down the left between 2 Verdy players and the ball was crossed into the box – 2 Kanazawa DF’s missed it and it fell to Sawai to score his second and Verdy’s third, for Verdy’s fourth goal it was a lovely chip-come-cross to Alan Pinheiro and he ran into the box with hardly any Kanazawa DF’s around him – he shot past the Kanazawa GK into the bottom right corner to make it a astonishing 4-1 Victory for Verdy.
