Matchday 7 2017 Preview –Tokyo Verdy v Shonan Bellmare

Verdy’s 7th game of the 2017 J2 season is at Home to Shonan Bellmare at Komazawa Olympic Park Stadium. After the late goal against Okayama, it was another 3 points that shot Verdy into first place in the J2 Table, but its another tough test like a lot of J2 Games are, but Verdy seem to be able to grind out results and get those all vital 3 points, to our opponents – Shonan were one of 3 clubs that were relegated in the 2016 Season, they are currently sit in 7th place after winning 4 games (beating Mito, Gunma Ehime and Chiba), drawing 1 (Kanazawa) and losing 1 (Sanuki) after 6 games – they have made a decent start after only going up to J1 2 years earlier, Shonan recently lost to Sanuki last weekend (see below) so it will be a interesting game, now we’ll look at the head to head between the 2 clubs – the last time these 2 teams meet was in the 2014 Season, on the 11th October, it finished 0-0, but there was 5 yellow cards and a red card for a Shonan player but no goals in the game – the record of head to heads are Verdy with 6 wins, 5 draws, 6 Shonan wins as well. Fingers crossed for another win and keep up that great start. LET’S FIGHT TOWARDS VICTORY.
