Verdy saw themselves in a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Roasso Kumamoto, just seemed like it was a bad day at the office with a scoreline like that, this is the worst defeat of the 2017 Season for Verdy. To the game, the first goal was from the Verdy DF was caught ball watching and didn’t see Hayate Hachikubo come through and put the ball past Shibasaki and Hayate put the ball into the back of the net to make it 1-0 to Kumamoto, after the goal – Verdy had a great chance thanks to Koki Anzai but the Kumamoto goalkeeper touched it over the bar, then Kumamoto made it 2-0 after a long range shot by Byong Jun An found the back of the net, then Kumamoto made it 3-0 after some deflections found Shuhei Kamimura in the box and he placed the ball past Shibasaki in the Verdy goal to make it 3-0 at half time, man what a bad half this was. It wasn’t going Verdy’s way at all – had a chance in the second half but went wide, it just wasn’t Verdy’s day at all, half way through the second half, Kumamoto got their fourth goal after a shot from the right from about 30 yards and it went past Shibasaki and deflected off the post and went into the back of the net and the full time score was Kumamoto 4-0 Verdy, real credit to Kumamoto, it was a great win for them and you just have to put your hands up and say the better team won.
